• BROW PREPARATION

    • Avoid caffeine/alcohol and use of blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, Niacin, etc.) 24+ hours prior

    • Discontinue use of skin care with exfoliants/acids (AHA/BHA, glycolic, Retin-A, etc.) 2 weeks prior

    • Avoid sun tanning 30 days prior/after your appointment. Always use sunscreen. Coming to your appointment with a tan will result in being sent home and rescheduling.

    • Botox/Filler should be done 2 weeks prior

    • Brow Waxing and shaping 72 hours

    • Brow tinting 7 days

    • I recommend coming to your appointment with your brows grown out. That way I can see how they grow naturally!

    • Avoid exercise. Elevated heart rates results in excess oil production and increases blood flow leading to poor healed results. Sweat is essentially salt water which dissolves pigment.

    • If you regularly fill in your brows come to your appointment with them filled in. This give me an idea of what you’re used to. But not totally necessary!

    • Makeup is optional!! We will be taking a lot of photos, come however you are most comfortable

  • BROW AFTERCARE:

    • Very Important! One hour after your procedure, you must wipe away the barrier cream and lymph using a clean, lightly dampened cotton pad or tissue. Gently pat dry and reapply a very thin layer of fresh barrier cream. Do this every 2-3 hours for the rest of the day, then 4 times per day for the following 3 days. Dry heal thereafter, but continue to keep area clean.

    • Lightly wash the procedure area once per day for the first 7 days using a fragrance free, dye free, non-exfoliating, non-acid type facial cleanser and your clean fingertips in a gentle, circular motion for 5 seconds, rinse with cool water, then pat dry with a tissue.

    • DO NOT scratch, rub or pick at the procedure area at all during the healing process!!!

    • DO NOT oversaturate or submerge brows in water for 7 days. Avoid hot showers, swimming, saunas, lakes, pools, or any other bodies of water for at least 10 days.

    • DO NOT perform any exercises or tasks that cause perspiration for 7 days. Elevated heart rates results in excess oil production and increases blood flow leading to poor healed results!

    • DO NOT tint, thread, or wax the area, receive Botox or other facial injectables, or receive a professional facial or other skin care treatment for at least 14 days.

    • DO NOT use any type of exfoliating products on the brow area EVER, including Retin-A, Alpha-Hydroxy or Glycolic Acids, Anti-Aging creams/serums, scrubs, chemical peels.

    • Avoid sun exposure for 7 days. Then, always protect with SPF 30 to prevent premature fading.

    • DO NOT apply makeup, face creams, ointments, balms, or any other products to the area for at least 7 days.

    • Your brows will go through a series of changes over the next few weeks. This is the nature of the healing process. They may appear too dark at first, then they may get very light, and finally the color and definition should return in the 4th week.

    • A Perfection Session should be scheduled 6-8 weeks after the initial procedure, at which time we will address and attempt to correct any healing issues or imperfections. Schedule this appointment ASAP to ensure that you get an appointment in the 6-8 week time frame.

  • LIP BLUSH PREPARATION

Very important! If you are prone to cold sores you must get prescribed an Anti-Viral to prevent an outbreak. Begin taking 3-5 days prior/after Lip Blushing.

24 HOURS BEFORE: To minimize bleeding during the procedure, please avoid any alcohol and excessive caffeine. Blood thinning medications such as Ibuprofen, Advil, Fish oil, etc. should also be avoided unless prescribed by a doctor.

ONE WEEK: prior begin to gently exfoliate your lips and keep them hydrated as much as possible. Dry flaky lips can lead to poor healed results.

BOTOX/FILLER: Must be done 30 days prior or after your appointment for optimal healing.

WAXING/THREADING: Please do so at least 2 weeks before your appointment.

RETIN-A: Please refrain from using any retin-a products in the area for 2 weeks leading up to your appointment.

Avoid exercise. Exercising increases blood flow and will cause excessive bleeding, leading to poor healed results. Sweat is essentially salt water which dissolves pigment. You sweat from the inside out so please avoid any workouts while healing as well.

  • LIP BLUSH AFTERCARE

DAY 1 (DAY OF THE PROCEDURE)

    • 1 hour after wipe your lips with included antiseptic wipe, followed by a cotton round dampened with lukewarm water, pat dry then reapply included balm.

    • Repeat at bedtime

    • You may refrigerate included lip mask for about 10 minutes, then apply to your lips to ease tenderness/swelling.

    • When they are feeling dry, apply included balm.

DURING DAYS 1-5 (OR UNTIL FLAKING IS FINISHED)

    • Do not get your lips wet for 7-10 days, aside from initial cleaning on day 1. Let them heal!

    • Keep your lips hydrated with included balm at all times, do NOT let them dry out. Apply as needed.

    • DO NOT pick or pull at any flaking or scabbing!

    • Drink ALL liquids through a straw

    PLEASE AVOID FOR 10-14 DAYS:

    • Water (on the PMU area) aside from cleaning them

    • Makeup in treated area

    • Sweating (working out of any kind)

    • Saunas, pools, jacuzzis and any body of water

    • Tanning beds

    • Direct sun/sunbathing

    • Spicy/acidic food

    • Smoking/vaping (Can alter pigment color)

    • Kissing

    • Exfoliating products and or services of any kind, such as peels, masks, laser procedures, scrubs, AHA/BHA & glycolic acids, etc...

    • Be patient! Results are not immediate! Your lip color will start off very dark/bold, then it will lighten up significantly, and eventually “bloom” around the third or fourth week. The final result will be 40-70% lighter once the healing process is complete. A Touch-Up may be scheduled between 4-8 weeks after the initial procedure, at which time we can address and attempt to correct any healing issues or imperfections.

If you experience an allergic reaction, or develop signs or symptoms of an infection, contact your doctor right away. If you are prone to cold sores contact your doctor immediately to request a prescription for anti-viral

  • EYELINER PREPARATION

    • Please take a month long break from any exfoliating anti aging/acne products (Retinoids, Glycolics, Vitamin C, AHA/BHA, enzyme washes, serums, etc)

    • Please take a break from all lash growth solutions as Latisse near and around your eyes area at least 12 weeks prior to your session and 2 weeks after for best healed results. It’s best to discontinue until after your touch up appointment.

    • Any treatments such as lasers, peels, tinting, lash lifts, etc. should also take place 2 weeks prior or 2 weeks after your appointment.

    • Don't get lash extensions or use fake lashes until your eyeliner is fully healed (10-14 days) Lash extensions must be removed a week before your appointment.

•No makeup on your eyes day of appointment, make sure they are clean as possible!

•Contacts must be taken out at the time of your appointment as well.

•24 HOURS BEFORE: To minimize bleeding during the procedure, please avoid any alcohol and caffeine. Blood thinning medications such as Ibuprofen and Advil should also be avoided unless prescribed by a doctor.

•BOTOX: If you regularly get Botox or Dysport, it must be done at least 14 days prior to your appointment. It takes at least that long to settle in the skin. Receiving it within 14 days of your appointment will result in being sent home and asked to reschedule.

•Avoid exercise/sweating prior and after your appointment. Exercising increases blood flow and will cause excessive bleeding, leading to poor healed results.

  • EYELINER AFTERCARE

Some puffiness is normal right after and for the following couple days. Unless one has extremely sensitive eyes and they experience more than the usual puffiness or redness, it shouldn't affect normal day to day activities.

I recommend a week long of dry heal. Meaning do not use or put anything on your eyes for at least 10 days.

Refrain from soaking your eyes area in water (shower/bath/swimming), avoid saunas, long steamy showers, wearing eye makeup, applying moisturizer, exercising/sweating, etc. Repeat the same exact aftercare post second session.

You can gently clean your eyelids with a lightly dampened cotton round 1-2x a day. You will be supplied a balm if needed, however it’s best to let your tattoo dry-heal on its own.

Do not touch your eyes, or pick at any flaking during the healing process.

  • FRECKLE PRE-CARE

30 Days Before: No filler or injections in or around the face.

30 Days Before: Do not tan or sun bathe. Irritated and/or sun burnt skin cannot be worked on. Also, refrain from any facial, laser or waxing treatments on your face.

2 Weeks Before: Discontinue use of any skincare that encourages exfoliation on the face (Retinol, AHA/BHA, etc).

48 Hours Before: No blood thinners such as Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Caffeine, Coffee, Tea, Smoking, Alcohol, Soda, Niacin, Vitamin E, Advil, Fish Oil, etc.

Day Of: Please arrive with a fresh, clean face free of makeup…and again...NO CAFFEINE!

Menstrual Cycle: Please note you will be sensitive during your cycle due to hormone fluctuations in the body.

  • FRECKLE AFTER CARE

Normal to Dry Skin- Cleanse morning and night with a gentle, fragrance free cleanser such as Cetaphil/Cerave. Keep freckles dry by not applying any ointments or lotions. **if you have very dry skin, Aquahor can be applied once a day

Oily Skin- Cleanse morning and night with a gentle, fragrance free cleanser such as Cetaphil/Cerave. Keep freckles dry by not applying any ointments or lotions. For the first 48 hours, if there is any excess lymph fluid or frecks appear glossy, dab with a clean tissue or sterile water wipe.

Things to Avoid for 5-7 Days:

    No picking or scratching

    No sunscreen, skincare or makeup

No sun exposure or tanning (including tanning beds) this will alter the pigment color!

No steam baths, showers or saunas

No working out or increased sweating

    What to expect:

Days 1-2: Freckles will appear extra bold, dark and inflamed

Days 3-4: Freckles will begin to scab over

Days 5-7: Scabs/peeling should naturally fall off. DO NOT PICK

Even though surface level healing takes 5-7 days, the layers of the skin take 6-8 weeks to fully heal. Some freckles may ghost and come back within that time frame and some will not retain entirely. Overall, Frecks should fully heal 30-40% lighter than the initial results
